- Turn left on main street (opposite U Save) onto Broderick Street
- After 200m take the first right onto Coolbawn Court
- Go immediately left to cross the foot bridge onto the Pontoon Walkway
- At the end of the walkway go L, cycling past Riverside Estate
- Cycle under the flyover and go right onto a road between fields
- This road brings you to a primary school at a roundabout, go through this roundabout following the L3619 keeping the school on your left hand side
- Continue for 7km to a T Junction (Fota Island Resort entrance is in front of you)
- Take a left signposted for Cobh
- After 2km take a right into Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens
